What is here in the Sierra de Grazalema

What to do in Grazalema - or the Sierra de Grazalema

You’ll find yourself immersed in one of the most beautiful natural parks in all of Spain. The lush landscape is only interrupted by the famous white villages of Cadiz and Malaga provinces- to name a few - Zahara de la Sierra; Benaocaz; Villalengua del Rosario, Arcos de la Frontera, Bornos, Villamartin and larger towns still worthy of a 1/2 day or day trip are Olvera and of course the spectacular larger town of Ronda.

We’ve prepared a map of Benamahoma and Grazalema which will shortly be made available here; but help you further … here are a list of small local companies that we can put you in touch with:

Grazalema Cycling Adventures who not only hire excellent and modern bikes (electric; off road and roading) by the day; they also offer excellent guided biking rides tailored to your requests at very reasonable prices. Also offered are recommendations on cycling routes. They are open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm and Friday to Sunday by appointment - info@grazalemacycling.com

Horizon Aventura of Grazalema are a specialist activity company who have been in business since 1994. They offer canyoning, hiking, paragliding, canoes, climbing, incentive activities for companies amongst others. You can contact them at info@horizonaventura.com. Predominantly Spanish speaking if you need assistance please let me know.

‘The Beach’ at Zahara de la Sierra this is an excellent beach bordering the reservoir at Zahara de la Sierra with showers, toilets, snack shack and restaurant - there is a small entrance charge but you can hire kayaks here and spend few hours in the shade after exploring Zahara (not to be confused with Zahara de Los Atunes which is on the coast - and also worth a day trip to visit the beaches of Cadiz.
